



In her current role, Jasmina Dervisevic oversees the daily operations, administrative functions, and Secretariat team at the WMU-Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute (GOI). Reporting to the Director, she ensures that the Institute’s research projects and initiatives run smoothly, stay on budget, and align perfectly with donor requirements. Jasmina manages a wide range of core areas, including financial oversight, budgeting, procurement, human resources, and complex travel logistics. Additionally, she coordinates major donor reporting, notably to The Nippon Foundation, and guides the planning and delivery of high-level international conferences, workshops, and outreach activities
Jasmina brings extensive administrative and managerial experience across both the public and private sectors. Her background includes key operational and project roles within the United Nations system and regional bodies, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and the Danish Refugee Council in Sarajevo. In the private sector, she has delivered administrative excellence through her work with Robert BOSCH GmbH and the Greenways Association.
She holds an educational background in Business Management and Journalism from the University of Sarajevo. Jasmina thrives in multi-cultural academic environments and is fluent in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian and English, with advanced proficiency in Swedish.
