Emily Nuckolls is Assistant Registrar (Admissions) at the World Maritime University (WMU) in Malmö, where she works within the University Registry. Her role includes supporting admissions processes, student administration, and donor-related liaison and reporting.
Emily first joined WMU as an intern from Lund University and has since held roles spanning both Outreach and Registry functions. Before moving into her current position, she worked in WMU’s Outreach department, supporting distance-learning programmes, executive and professional development courses, and the delivery of the University’s Summer Academy.
Prior to joining WMU, Emily served as Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, where she led alumni engagement and fundraising initiatives through communications, events, and annual giving programmes. She also worked as Communications Coordinator at the Centre for European Research at the University of Gothenburg.
Emily holds an M.A. in Applied Cultural Analysis from Lund University and a B.A. in International Affairs and Art History from the University of Georgia
