Ms. Dragana Rudić joined the World Maritime University in August 2018 and currently works as Assistant to the Vice-President (Provost). She provides administrative and operational support to the Vice-President (Provost), serving as a key liaison between academic departments, administrative units, and external stakeholders. Her responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and the organisation of events, while supporting the implementation of academic and institutional initiatives across the University.

Dragana is working closely with internal departments to ensure alignment with established policies, procedures, and regulations. She also provides operational coordination support for the IMO-related projects and initiatives, contributing to the successful delivery of international maritime education, capacity-building, and professional development programmes.

As a focal point at WMU, Dragana supports the IMOGENder Network project “Women on Board”, contributing to efforts that advance women's empowerment in the maritime sector through mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Before her current position, Dragana worked as a Faculty Assistant, supporting the Academic Dean and coordinating engagement with Visiting Professors and Lecturers from around the world. She contributed to the administration of the MSc programme, supported students and faculty, and assisted in the implementation of professional development programmes, gaining valuable experience in international academic collaboration and programme administration.

Before joining WMU, Dragana worked as Head of the Administrative Department in an international company in Belgrade, where she led multiple projects. Her role included project and personnel management, human resources responsibilities, enabling her to develop strong expertise in team coordination, organisational development, and stakeholder engagement. She was committed to fostering a culture of compliance, monitoring, and auditing, improving operational efficiency, and establishing effective communication channels across the organisation. In addition, she organised numerous workshops, seminars, and corporate events, contributing to employee development and organisational success.

Dragana holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management and Public Relations from the Faculty of Organisational Sciences (FON) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business, both from the University of Belgrade. She also earned a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in Dublin, Ireland.
